Sublimation of Camphor

Language Used / Song

Mandarin
Hakka
The industries revolving around camphor trees used to be the center of Shihtang’s development, which had led to a history of much blood and sweat. This work is cast based on a real camphor tree as a way to memorialize the camphor trees that had sacrificed for humankind. The upper part of the work resembles a pair of spreading wings, praying for blessings. Overall, the work symbolizes an ecologically harmonious and wonderful future for Shihtang based on the history of camphor trees.
