Pointing Track - The sound sample movement

Language Used / Song

Mandarin
Hakka
Pointing Track utilizes the railway track space from the transportation facility for moving old machineries in Chuhuangkeng in Gongguan, Miaoli. It then combines sound documents from the surrounding environment and oil drilling, field recordings of Hakka blacksmiths in the process of forging, and old mechanical components, which are restored and remade into new structures, to create a sound installation that interacts with the public.
